One of my favorite things

Paperwork

As an A2 I have found that staying organized is key to making a show happen flawlessly. I tend to write backstage plots, lav/mic rig information, truck packs, and entrance exit plots into these backstage packets. Anything that will give us the best chance to diagnose and solve problems before they get to the audience.

Wicked

Backstage combined Track

We had an A2 and A3 on this show however the backstage track could be run by one person if necessary. If something broke during the show or if I needed to step away to fix a transmitter we would run this track.

This track includes what mics to listen to at what times so that we could hear and fix any issues before the actors hit stage, as well as mic pack switches from hairline to mask.

Anastasia

Mic List

All of our frequencies, gains, placements, hair colors etc could be found on this. It was our go to reference piece for anything maintenance related.

Tootsie

Mic List

This piece held all of our mic work notes, rig lengths, paint colors etc so when we needed to do maintenance we could always reference this.
